AT VOLOGODCHIN PLAN TO OPEN WORKSHOPS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FISH FEED
Opportunities to establish bases for the production of fish feed on the basis of domestic enterprises operating in the Vologda region were discussed within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
As noted by experts, despite the desire of agro-industrial complex enterprises to develop fish-breeding projects, the main problem remains the insufficient amount of quality feed. Most often, the basis of the nutrient base is imported products, so aquafare is highly dependent on the logistics of supplies and fluctuations in the rate.
The Russian Academy of Sciences is ready to help solve the strategic issue not only for the aquaculture of Vologda region, but for the entire Russian fish industry, the Russian Academy of Sciences is ready to provide, the press service of the regional government informs. Vologodchina in the last few years demonstrates the active growth of enterprises engaged in the production of commercial fish. The main task is to make up the shortage of consumption of fish products by the locals, and at the expense of their own resources.
"Over the past six years, the volume of our farms has grown almost tenfold. The regional government is stepping up its efforts to support the aquaculture industry.
